The decision has been made....I'm running for Okanogan County Sheriff! The citizens of this County have been great to me and my family over the years. I'm excited to continue serving them in new and greater ways! The future looks exciting! I would appreciate your support!
I’ve learned through experience that when the good people of Okanogan County come together, great things happen. That’s why I’m running for Sheriff. As Sheriff I intend to lead and organize efforts to bring citizens, community organizations, and resources, together to combat the issues we are facing. Currently we have many state, county, city, and private institutions working independently of each other on issues such as crime, drugs, poverty, homelessness, and many more. There is little to no communication or cooperation between these groups. There is very little sharing of resources on some of these issues. “United we stand, divided we fall” comes to mind. Efforts are failing in these areas because we have simply forgotten what makes us successful. Teamwork. Community. Hard work. We need a strong leader who understands this principle. I understand it, and I can energize and motivate the proper people to put a plan into action. I have done it at the municipal level. I’ve developed partnerships and working relationships that will make this possible. It’s time to put this plan into motion for the entire county.
